Asphalt Concrete - Miscellaneous in Place Contract Term: May 1, 2023 through April 30, 2024 All bidders must submit a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) payable to Allegany County Department of Public Works with their bid. Bid Bond or Certified Check will be refunded to unsuccessful bidders. The successful bidder (s) will be issued a notice of intent to award and will be required to submit a Performance Bond in the amount of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) effective until May 1st, 2024, within three weeks of the date of receipt of the notice of intent. Upon receipt of the Performance Bond or Certified Check the successful bidder(s) will be issued a Notice of Award. The Bid Bond will be returned with the Notice of Award. The Performance Bond will be released upon completion of work and acceptance by the Superintendent of Public Works. Performance Bonds for Town and Village should be provided directly to the respective Town or Village. The Allegany County Department of Public Works reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid it determines to be in the best interest of Allegany County. Upon mutual agreement of the parties, Allegany County reserves the right to renew the contract (s) awarded as a result of this bid for an additional one (1) year period by resolution of the Public Works Committee of the Allegany County Board of Legislators in accordance with the specifications and NYS GML 103 and 104b.
