Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mitchell, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Project consists of streetscape improvements as well as utility construction including sanitary sewer, water main, and storm sewer reconstruction and surfacing reconstruction including asphalt paving, sidewalks, and other corresponding construction items on 3rd Avenue and Main Street Intersection. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. McLaury Engineering shall, upon request, furnish one copy of the Contract Documents, without charge, to each contractor resident in South Dakota who intends, in good faith, to bid upon the project. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Pursuant to State Law, a copy of the bidder s sales and use tax license and a copy of the bidder s excise tax license as issued by the State of South Dakota must accompany the bid. In lieu of a copy of the license, the bidder shall submit appropriate evidence that the bidder and all affiliates have the appropriate licenses. The City of Mitchell reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
