The City of Humble is seeking qualified commercial janitorial companies to offer a bid for daily janitorial services at the Humble Civic Center & Arena Complex, Charles Bender Performing Arts Center, Phillip Cezeaux Recreational Center, and the Humble Senior Activity Center. - Submit bid with monthly rate based on 5 days per week, with 3 porters working on average 7 hours per day/22 days per month. - Provide a separate hourly rate for additional hours and for events that require housekeeping. - Fees should include labor, insurance coverage, and equipment. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to ensure that his/her bid is actually in the City of Humble Chief Financial Officer's office prior to the expiration of the time and date above first written. It shall be each bidder's sole responsibility to inspect the site of the work and to inform him/herself regarding all local conditions under which the work is to be done. It shall be understood and agreed that all such factors have been thoroughly investigated and considered in the preparation of the bid submitted. Upon consideration of the proposals the City Council plans to award a contract. However, the City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all formalities and technicalities, and to accept any bid which it deems advantageous to the City. Each bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the City and their respective agents and/or employees arising out of or in connection to/with the administration, evaluation or recommendation of any bid.
