Renovation of a water / sewer project in Sierra Vista, Arizona. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The City of Sierra Vista is seeking a licensed electrical contractor to provide all labor and services for Anoxic Basin/Mixer Replacement Electrical Service Installation. The City of Sierra Vista Environmental Operations Park (EOP) utilizes rubber lined basins for their wastewater treatment system train. One of these basins (anoxic) is experiencing heavy solids settling, effectively reducing the volume of water it can treat. In an attempt to reduce this solids settlement the City is purchasing and installing a 50 HP, 3 phase, 480V electric motor, pump and variable frequency drive (VFD) to recirculate water within the anoxic basin, resulting in a reduction of solids settlement. This project will provide electrical service to the VFD and Motor proposed for the agitation system.
