Kingman Area Regional Transit (KART), operated by the City of Kingman is requesting proposals from qualified CONSULTANTs for a Transit Center Site Selection and Environmental Analysis. The Short and Long Range Transit Study performed in 2021 identified the need for a dedicated transit center that can better provide safe and efficient service for transit customers. This site will need a comfort station with restroom facilities, a customer service area, administrative offices, be in close proximity to a current KART route and provide enough space to allow for system growth. For further information, please submit all questions in writing by email to Curtis Larsen, Public Works Project Manager clarsen@cityofkingman.gov not later than 2/15/2023 which is ten (10) business days prior to the closing date of 3/2/2023. Responses to questions will be posted no later than 2/22/23 The envelope shall Include six (6) bound copies, one (1) original, and an electronic copy in pdf format on USB storage device of the complete proposal submittal document. Delays due to mail and/or delivery services will not be considered excusable to the time requirements contained within this RFP. During the evaluation process, the City of Kingman reserves the right, where it may serve in the City's best interest, to request additional information or clarification from proposers. At the discretion of the City of Kingman, each proposer submitting a proposal may be requested to attend interviews as part of the evaluation process. The City of Kingman reserves the right to retain all proposals submitted and to use any ideas in a proposal, regardless of whether that proposal is selected. Submission of a proposal indicates acceptance by the proposer of the conditions contained in this request for proposal. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
