Site work and paving for a road / highway in Carbondale, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of March 30, 2023, project was awarded to GMCO, LLC, awarded amount is $210,037.90. The Town of Carbondale is accepting bids from local qualified contractors to perform work on the 2023 Chip Seal program. Work on this project cannot begin prior to May 15, 2023, and must be complete by June 30, 2023. No chip seal work will be allowed on Tuesdays as Tuesdays are residential trash and recycling collection days and all roads being chip sealed this year are residential in nature The Chip Seal Program consists of applying asphaltic binder and aggregate meeting CDOT No. 8 specifications on approximately 56,767 square yards of street surface. All work shall meet, at a minimum, the Town of Carbondale Chip Seal Surfacing Specifications. A list of the streets scheduled to be chip sealed are included (see Street Listing). The Town has a limited budget for the 2023 Chip Seal program and therefore reserves the right to adjust the quantities to fit within the financial limits of the program based on the bids received. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
