The USDA Forest Service, Carson National Forest, Questa Ranger District, Questa, New Mexico, is seeking to replace four (4) HVAC condenser units & their respective four (4) Furnaces at the District Office located in Questa NM, on the Questa Ranger District - Carson National Forest. The work shall include the installation (4) new Thermostatic Expansion Valves for the (4) new HVAC units and Evaporative Coils, eight (8) power surge protection devices, four (4) for the new units & four (4) the existing units that remain. All work shall be completed in accordance with the project specifications and statements of work included as attachments to this solicitation. The project includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform all the operations for the work specified. 2. Type of Award. As a result of this solicitation, the Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price Construction Contract using Simplified Acquisition with Request For Quote (RFQ) format. NAICS code 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors is assigned to solicitation under Small Business Set-Aside ($16.5 million). PSC code Z2AA.
