Per the owner, as of January 8, 2024, the general contractor for Avenue 25 is American Paving Company. Road 5.5 is being done by Agee Construction. The owner states that Road 5.5 is complete and Avenue 25 is about halfway finished and should be completed in April 2024. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ......... The County of Madera (County) is seeking to hire a qualified consultant firm to provide Construction Engineering and Inspection Services for the Avenue 25 Bridge Replacement at Ash Slough and the Road 5.5 Bridge Replacement at Chowchilla River projects. The replacement bridge has been designed to accommodate the scour conditions present in Ash Slough. The roadway geometrics will be improved by widening the bridge roadway from 26 feet to 32 feet. The new bridge barriers will be compliant with Caltrans MASH standards Deadline for Written Questions February 15, 2023 Responses to Written Questions February 17, 2023 Firm Selection Date March 3, 2023 End of Negotiations/Final Selection March 10, 2023 Tentative Board Approval of Professional Services Agreement April 11, 2023 The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
