Renovation of a municipal facility in Wausau, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 21,441-square-foot municipal facility.
The correct square-footage is approx. 21,441 sq.ft. along with some additional information. Under this bid package, Contractor shall provide the necessary trades, for which bids are asked including, but not necessarily limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the construction of a Marathon Cty Courthouse Re-Roofing to be located at 500 Forest Street in Wausau, WI 54403. The project consists of removal of approximately 21,441 sf of existing EPDM, insulation and built-up roofing complying with the report performed by NorthStar Environmental (refer to appendix in this document). Roof replacement to be TPO membrane roofing with layers of rigid insulation and tapered insulation, metal trim, reglets and copings. Mechanical, electrical and Plumbing as indicated on the drawings. To assure proper coordination and completion of each bid package under this Project, the Contractor shall collaborate with all trades and material suppliers. The Contractor shall generate a single submittal log, submittal file in the Project trailer, and single construction schedule. The Project site is located at 500 Forest Street, in Wausau, WI 54403 Commencement of Construction: May 29, 2023 Final Completion: September 15, 2023 Marathon County reserves the right to reject in whole or in part any and all bids, to waive any informalities, and to accept the bids determined to be in the best interest of the County. This advertisement may be canceled if determined to be in the best interest of the County. The General Code of the County of Marathon contains various procurement policies which are applicable to this proposed procurement. These include prohibitions against gratuities and kickbacks. This request is governed by the Marathon County Procurement Code, a copy of which is available at the County Clerk's office in the Courthouse Bids shall be accompanied by a security deposit in the form of a Bid Bond or certified check in the amount of no less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid Sum. Endorse the Bid Bond or certified check in the name of the Owner as obligee, signed and sealed by the Contractor as principal and the Surety. After a Bid has been accepted, all securities will be returned to the respective Bidders. For the accepted Bidder, the security deposit will be returned after execution of the Contract. If no contract is awarded, all security deposits will be returned. Include the cost of the Bid security in the Bid Sum.
