Renovation of an educational facility in Norfolk, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond or guarantee of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, which shall be a certified check, cash escrow or a bid bond payable to the Norfolk Public Schools This date is to be stated in the Agreement between Owner and Contractor, and to execute the Agreement in the form of Norfolk Public Schools Agreement between Owner and Contractor, Latest Edition, if notified of award of the contract within forty-five (45) calendar days after the bid opening date. The Undersigned further agrees, if awarded the contract, to execute and deliver Performance and Labor and Materials Payment Bonds on AIA document A312 and 100% of Contract amount The Contractor shall substantially complete all work no later than December 1, 2023, in accordance with the Contract Documents. Final Completion shall be no later than December 31, 2023.
