Renovation of a municipal facility in Kennesaw, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Each proposal must be accompanied by a cashier's check or certified check on a duly organized bank made payable to City of Kennesaw or a bidding bond executed by the bidder, and a surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Georgia, in the sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. All proposals must be made out on the bid form furnished with the Contract Documents, in accordance with the instructions in the information for bidders. No interlineations, additions or deletions shall be made in the bid form by the Bidder. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive formalities, readvertise, and to reduce or add to the contract from time to time. Payment will be made to the contractor each calendar month based on the estimated work completed and in place as described by the standard specifications. Final payment of amounts withheld or deposited in escrow will not be made until the City of Kennesaw has certified that the work has been satisfactorily completed and accepted. A total of seven (7) paper copies, and one (1) digital copy provided on a USB/flash drive device, of the proposal shall be required. Factors used in evaluating proposals will include Firm Qualifications, References, Experience, Litigation Record, and Project Cost. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. The principal items required for the project shall include temporarily moving office furniture to accommodate the removal and disposal of existing flooring and replacement with new flooring, restroom upgrades, millwork, and repainting of walls and trim at the Kennesaw City Hall building. Operations within this facility require this work to be performed after typical business hours. Contract time for project completion is negotiable and shall be submitted within proposal as "Project to be completed within (XX) days from the Notice to Proceed" Every request for such interpretation should be in writing, via email, addressed to Mr. Roy Acree, email: racree@croyeng.com and to be given consideration must be received by Friday, March 3, 2023, 5:00pm Local Time. THE CITY OF KENNESAW IS PERFORMING AN INTERIOR FINISH REPLACEMENT PROJECT TO Codes In Effect INCLUDE THE BASEMENT LEVEL AND MAIN LEVEL ONLY. SCOPE OF WORK TO CONSIST OF GENERAL INTERIOR FINISH UPDATES AND MINOR ALTERATIONS TO ACCOMMODATE BATHROOM RENOVATIONS. EXISTING NON-LOAD BEARING PARTITION WALLS AND EXIT DOORS TO REMAIN AS-IS. PROJECT LOCATION NO INCREASE IN OCCUPANT LOAD OR MODIFICATIONS TO EXISTING LIFE SAFETY ARE Qi ANTICIPATED OR INCLUDED IN THIS INTERIOR FINISH REPLACEMENT PROJECT
