The South Tahoe Public Utility District (STPUD) invites sealed bids by electronic submission only for the construction of the 2023 Luther Pass & Heavenly Tanks Rehab Project. Bids shall be valid for 60 calendar days after the bid opening date, as required in the Bid Form. The site of the work is located on District property within an established residential area at 3755 Grass Lake Road, South Lake Tahoe, El Dorado County, California (APN 36-370-35) and on Heavenly Valley Ski Resort property approximately 1/4 mile southwest of the Heavenly California Base Lodge at 3860 Saddle Rd, in the county of El Dorado, California. The work to be performed consists of: Rehabilitation of an existing approximately 1-million-gallon welded steel recycled water tank at Luther Pass Pump Station including interior and exterior tank recoat, construction of steel plate welded to the bottom 20 feet of the tank shell as a seismic upgrade, replacement of the cathodic protection system, and improvements to appurtenances. Recoating of the exterior of an existing approximately 1-million-gallon welded steel domestic drinking water tank located at Heavenly Valley Ski Resort.
