As of April 18, 2023, project was awarded to Green Site Services but awarded amount is not available. The Purchasing Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in the bids received and to accept the bid deemed the lowest evaluated and most favorable to the interest of the Town. LOCATION OF WORK: At the rear of the Department of Public Works located at 2 Mafalda Street, North Providence, RI 02904. The Towns objective is to have a turnkey fuel storage system permitted and installed that will allow the Town to service Town equipment and vehicles at the Department of Public Works. To accomplish this, the Town is seeking proposals for services from a firm with demonstrated competence and qualifications in accomplishing this work. The existing system is functional at this time.
Bid Item 1:
Fuel Pump Replacement
Drain Pump and piping of fuel.
Disconnect electrical, piping, and remove 1 dispenser/pump.
Install 1 new fuel pump, dispenser, hose, nozzle, and breakaway.
Start up and confirm proper operations. All other labor and materials to provide fuel dispensing system the will meet all federal, state and local codes, regulations, laws and requirements.
Bid Item 2:
Tank Monitor Replacement
Disconnect Electrical and remove existing tank monitor.
Install new Veeder root TLS4B and 2 new probes.
Program tank monitor, overfill alarm, and confirm proper operations. Fuel Control System to control both unleaded and diesel dispensers. Fuel terminal located at tank site and under canopy. Fuel site controller located in the Public Works building as directed by the Town. System should be able to report on fuel usage by vehicle, department and as whole town usage, on a daily, weekly, monthly yearly basis. Reports should be down loadable to excel and PDF. Bid item 3:
Fuel Management System (FMU)
Disconnect Electrical and remove existing FMU.
Install New Fuel Master 2500 Plus and upgrade software.
Provide 200 Keys for new system.
Program FMU, and confirm proper operations. A performance bond issued by a company authorized by the State of Rhode Island, in the amount of 100% of bid amount must be provided prior to performing work.
