Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc. and Better Housing for Tompkins County, Inc. has issued five Requests for Proposals (RFP) for a third party: (1) Certified Asbestos Investigator; (2) Licensed Mold Professional; (3) Certified Lead Assessor; (4) Environmental Review Consultant; and (5) HUD Certified Homebuyer Education Consultant. Asbestos, Mold, Lead and Environmental RFPs are specifically for residential homes receiving purchase or rehabilitation funds from local, state, and/or federal sources in Cayuga, Chemung, Cortland, Schuyler, Seneca, Tioga, and Tompkins Counties. INHS reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive proposal informalities, and to accept the lowest responsible proposal that serves the best interest of INHS clients. INHS encourages women- and minority-owned businesses to submit bids and Bidders to utilize women and minority businesses for supplies, equipment and services. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
