In general, the Contract involves the competitive solicitation of guide rails near 460 5th Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201. Bids will be based on a "lump sum" bid, materials included. Work associated with this Contract shall be conducted between April 10, 2023 and June 30, 2023. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. A Proposal Bond in the amount of 10% of the estimated bid price is required. A performance and payment bond or certified check each in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder after the contract is awarded. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Any questions or requests for interpretation of any provision of the Bidding Documents shall be made to Brian Fogal, Engineering Supervisor, at 717-251-2415 or bfogal@chambersburgpa.gov at least five (5) days prior to the submission deadline.
