Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
For the following: Center Street Improvements Project, Phase 2. In general, the Contract involves the competitive solicitation of the Center Street Improvement Project, Phase 2. This work includes the remaining storm sewer improvements and curb and sidewalk installation. MBE (5%), WBE (3%) Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $1,000.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. A Proposal Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bidders maximum bid price is required to accompany with a Bid. A performance and payment bond or certified check each in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder after the contract is awarded. An anti-collusion affidavit is required for this bid. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The contract will be subject to the Davis-Bacon wage Determination established by the United States Department of Labor.
