Site work and paving for a civil project in Lincoln, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and for paving for a road / highway.
Questions concerning this bid process may be directed to City/County Purchasing at (402) 441- 8103 or purchasing@lincoln.ne.gov. The Contractor shall have no more than 200 consecutive calendar days from the Beginning of Work date to achieve Final Completion of this project. Work may begin on or after April 3, 2023. Construction along G Street from N 18th Street to N 21st Street and along J Street from N 18th Street to the circular drop off area for Lincoln High School shall be completed between May 29, 2023, and August 11, 2023. Failure to meet this date shall result in liquidate damages to be assessed at a rate of $1,000 per day until all work on these streets is completed and the streets are open to traffic with permanent drive access restored to adjacent properties. Final completion shall be achieved by October 27, 2023. Failure to complete all Work associated with this contract by the final completion date shall result in liquidated damages to be assessed in accordance with the Lincoln Standard Specifications. 8 trees have been identified for removal. Tree removals must be completed prior to April 1, however. The Contractor will complete Tree Removal work between the Notice to Proceed and April 1 time period without charges of calendar days.
