Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Centralia, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a road / highway; and road / highway.
Separate sealed bids will be received by the City of Centralia (OWNER) located at 101 South Locust Street, Centralia, Illinois, 62801. Bids shall be submitted for: Sidewalk and Street Surface Restoration along N. Poplar Street from Rhodes Street to E. McCord Street Conditional or qualified bids will not be accepted. Give special attention to and comply with project insurance and bonding requirements. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of at least five percent of the amount bid, drawn payable to the City of Centralia as security for the proper execution of the contract. Bids from partnerships or joint ventures will not be acceptable. The OWNER reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bids should it consider same to be in the best interest of the OWN- ER Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after date of receiving and opening bids. The Illinois Dept. of Labor prevailing wages shall apply to the project and hiring preference shall be given to the Illinois citizens. The City of Centralia is an equal opportunity employer.
