Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Norwich, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Norwich is looking for proposals from certified fitness equipment vendors and installers for fitness equipment to be installed at Jenkins Park located Between High Street and Mechanic Street, Norwich, CT. The proposal shall not exceed the available budget of $11,375. Proposals above this budget will be disqualified. The Contractor shall furnish and install the play equipment according to the manufacturer's specifications. The equipment shall be installed slabs prepared by the contractor according to the manufacturer's specifications. The Contractor shall provide at the very least the following equipment: 1 Air Walker. For the physical training of the leg muscles and to improve cardiovascular endurance. 1 Rower. For the strengthening of back muscles, shoulders, arm muscles and abdominals. Please note that this project will use CDBG fund therefore the Contractor will be required to pay prevailing wage rates to installers. The Contractor shall submit certified payrolls to the City with the submission of the invoice for the project. The City of Norwich reserves the right to reject and all bids, in whole or in part, to waive minor irregularities in the bidding and to award the bid to other than the low bidder if deemed in the best interest of the City.
