The Project consists of: The furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, services and incidentals necessary for the renovation of the existing Construction and Technical Education (CTE) classrooms at the Santa Maria High School Campus located at 901 S Broadway, Santa Maria. Work to include: The removal and replacement of the complete Building 500 roof and the painting of the exterior of Building 500; additionally, the scope includes the renovation of room 510 Welding Shop, room 511 Agriculture Mechanical Shop, room 512 Systems Diagnostic (Auto Shop) and Room 513 Systems Diagnostics (Auto Shop). The renovation of room 513 includes the construction of a pair of accessible restrooms and modifications to existing office and storage rooms. The renovation of room 510 include modifications to an adjacent office and the scope for room 511 includes modifications to existing storage and tool rooms. The requirements of the individual rooms are listed below. Room 510 Welding Shop: The existing Welding Shop will be upgraded to have significant 21st Century improvements to support existing and new owner furnished and installed welding booths, welding equipment and miscellaneous equipment needed to support the program. The scope of work includes but is not limited to select demolition, general construction, ceiling, lighting, electrical, mechanical and plumbing upgrades and reconfiguration as well as the replacement of doors (exterior and interior), removal and replacement of roofing and this installation of new finishes. Room 511 Agriculture Mechanical Shop: The existing Agriculture Mechanical Shop will be upgraded to have significant 21st Century improvements to support existing and new owner furnished and installed equipment, welding booths, welding equipment and miscellaneous equipment needed to support the program. The scope of work includes but is not limited to select demolition, general construction, ceilings, lighting, electrical, mechanical and plumbing upgrades and reconfiguration as well as the replacement of doors (exterior and interior including large exterior roll-up doors), removal and replacement of roofing and this installation of new finishes. Room 512 and Room 513 Systems Diagnostics (Auto Shop): The existing System Diagnostics rooms will be upgraded to have significant 21st Century improvements to support existing and new owner furnished and installed equipment needed to support the program. prequalification questionnaire and financial statement no later than 5:00PM, February 13, 2023, The District awards the Contract, the security of unsuccessful bidder(s) shall be returned within sixty (60) days from the time the award is made.
