As of May 1, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Niagara County Community College is seeking sealed bids for construction of a new two-story 15,100 sf +/- building to serve as a Law Enforcement Academy on the campus. The new facility includes administrative functions, classrooms, and specialized training rooms. The facility includes the following spaces: classrooms, locker and shower rooms, combat training room, use of force training room and offices. The work is entirely new construction and will be awarded in four (4) prime construction contracts including: General Construction, Plumbing Construction, Mechanical Construction and Electrical Construction contracts. The project work includes: site work including new utilities, concrete, masonry, metals, rough and finished carpentry, thermal and moisture protection, firestopping and sealants, light gauge metal framed gypsum board partitions, interior millwork, doors, frames and hardware, glazing, interior finishes including flooring, ceilings and walls, specialties, signage, built-in furnishings; fire protection, domestic water, fire protection and sanitary plumbing; new mechanical HVAC systems; electrical power, lighting fire alarm, security, access control, and communications integration with campus systems; exterior site improvements as well as other miscellaneous work as described in the contract documents.
