CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 2/17/2023 3:00 PM The City of Spokane Parks Department is seeking bids for the Liberty Park Playground and Restroom Renovation Project. This project constitutes a public work under state law. On March 11, 2021, President Biden signed the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) into law, providing over $1.9 trillion in relief to address the continued impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economy, public health, State and local governments, individuals and businesses. This project is partially being funded using ARPA funds. 1. DEMOLITION OF EXISTING ASPHALT BASKETBALL COURT, CONCRETE WALKS, SITE FURNISHINGS, FOOTING, FLATWORK, EXISTING PLAY STRUCTURE WITH FOOTINGS, ABANDON UTILITIES AS INDICATED, REMOVAL OF EXISTING SIDEWALK AS INDICATED, REMOVAL OF TREES AS INDICATED, REMOVAL, SALVAGE, AND/OR DISPOSAL OF ALL DEMOLITION ITEMS AND OTHER WORK INDICATED IN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. 2. EARTHWORK, GRADING AND BASE PREPARATION. CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS, UNIT PAVER PATHWAYS, CURBS, ASPHALT PATCH, CMU DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE, LANDSCAPE, IRRIGATION, ELECTRICAL AND LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS. 3. Earthwork, grading and base preparation. Construction of sidewalks, unit paver pathways, curbs, asphalt patch, CMU dumpster enclosure, landscape, irrigation, electrical and lighting improvements. 3. Alternates include renovations to the existing restroom, dumpster enclosure and electrical renovations.
