Renovation of a water / sewer project in Altoona, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The Work of this Contract is generally described as the removal and replacement of the existing wastewater pumps, process valves and piping within the Wet Well and Dry Well of the lift station. Removal and replacement of the ventilation system throughout the building and adding a dehumidification system. Interior rehabilitation work to include but not limited to removal of existing paint and falling ceiling tiles and painting the walls, ceiling and piping. Removal of the existing grit blower and installing a new grit blower in the generator room and installing new blower piping and valves from this blower to the proposed diffusers in the Wet Well. Installing a 24-inch forcemain isolation valve and future bypass connection in the Dry Well. Installing a new Automatic Transfer Switch and Main Disconnect. Sequencing work shall be done to minimize the disruption and to maintain the operation of the lift station. Bypass pumping and piping of the influent flow into the lift station will be required to perform portions of this rehabilitation work.
