You will see the project referenced to specific buildings but there may be more than one program within each building. Therefore, it is important to distinguish between the building or the program during questions. There are 9 buildings targeted for this project: Erickson Elementary School Estabrook Elementary George School at 1076 Ecorse Rd Ford Early Learning Center Holmes Elementary School Perry Elementary School Willow Run Middle School at 235 Spencer Lane 510 Emerick Street (East Middle School) Ypsilanti Community High School Ypsilanti International Elementary School Installation and implementation by Oct 31, 2024. Scope of Work: Assess the current infrastructure to determine electrical and physical needs of the proposed sites Understand the district's intention and desire for the project and plan with the district how to best execute the vision even if the district does not specify every specific requirement Work with district team to dismantle and demolish the existing signs and review existing infrastructure Obtain permits and necessary approvals to install lit signs Design and build the housing for each sign Provide data infrastructure needed to control the sign Mount, install and connect the new sign Design the topper with the district and install on each sign Install and implement command and control system for each sign Train district staff members on how to operate the signs and provide consulting on first deployment This should include fine tuning each sign to meet context specific requirements such as brightness, timing, and scheduling The vendor should work with the district to understand specific installation standards and district expectations regarding how equipment is run, installed, patched, etc.
