Refer ALL Inquiries regarding this IFB to: John Poucher John.poucher@dac.nc.gov The Purpose of this solicitation is to award an Agency Specific Contract to a qualified vendor a contract for the purchase of Red Oak Plywood, per the stated bid specifications described herein for the Alexander Furniture Plant, 633 Old Landfill Road, Taylorsville, NC 28681. Background: The Red Oak Ply Wood will be used by the Alexander Furniture Plant to build cabinets The intent of this solicitation is to award an Agency Specific Contract. CONTRACT TERM The Contract shall have an initial term of Two (2) years, beginning on the date of final Contract execution (the "Effective Date"). At the end of the Contract's initial term, the State shall have the option, in its sole discretion, to renew the Contract on the same terms and conditions for up to One (1) additional one-year terms. The State will give the Vendor written notice of its intent to exercise each option no later than thirty (30) days before the end of the Contract's then-current term. In addition, the State reserves the right to extend a contract term after the last active term.
