Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Whitehall, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The Project consists of Daycare Renovation at White Lake Area Community Education. Prevailing wages apply to Mechanical Scope of Work. PRELIMINARY CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE A. Each Bidder is required to list their respective Construction Schedule where shown on the bid form. NOTE: HVAC UNIT MUST BE ON SITE 3/23/2023 TO MEET FUNDING GUIDELINES. B. The effect of endorsements and amendments to the Construction Schedule will be considered when selecting Bidders for contract awards. All proposals shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship between the bidder and any member of the Board of Education for the Whitehall District Schools. The Familial Disclosure Statement form is included in the Bid Form (page 4). Failure to provide this document will result in the rejection of your Bid. ALL BIDS TO INCLUDE: A. Design Proof B. Permitting C. Related Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical and Controls D. Tools and Equipment E. Insurance Naming WinBerg and Whitehall District Schools as Additional Insured F. Schedule G. One Year Unconditional Labor, Equipment and Material warranty H. General Warranties on Equipment I. Mechanical Bid Category to include State of Michigan Prevailing Wage a. Roof top units must be on the roof prior to March 23, 2023 b. Whitehall District Schools has purchased two Carrier roof top units and curbs to be installed this contract. c. One 10 ton Carrier unit to be installed for the day care area and one 5 ton Carrier unit to be installed to provide conditioning to the rooms East of the day care and north of the corridor a. 280/230V 3 phase units b. Medium gas heat package c. Single circuit/2 stage cooling d. Direct Drive, medium static fan e. Electro Mechanical Controls f. Includes Vertical low leak economizer g. Includes New 18" knock down curb d. Include demo of existing hydronic coils at new entrance to playground e. Reroute hydronic piping above ceiling adjacent to new corridor playground entrance f. Include demo of existing mechanical equipment in childcare rooms (Units, Ducting, Isolate hydronic piping at existing locations g. Include roof curb installation h. Note: owner to provide curb rubber membrane flashing to be coordinated this contract i. Includes New Programmable Thermostat j. Provide exposed spiral ducting for child care space - duct to be paintable k. Provide concealed ducting above ceiling grid with diffusers for the East rooms l. Provide gas supply connection on roof - location of existing gas piping to be verified by contractor m. Include all supply and return grills and diffusers n. Include balance report o. Provide Alternate pricing for BMS controls p. Commission and owners training q. Provide labor, materials, and consumables to complete r. Provide crane and all required rigging for RTU installation s. Mechanical Permit Included t. Daily housekeeping and cleanup u. All required warranties and guarantees - One Year Unconditional Warranty v. Applicable sales tax must be included in base bid w. Material, labor and performance bonds required for any work over $50,000
