The existing dormitory-style sleep areas will be partitioned into private gender-neutral individual sleep rooms. Modification to the ductwork and electrical distribution, lighting and fire sprinklers (where installed) will be needed to accommodate the partitioned spaces. The interior scope of work is limited to the extents of the sleeping quarters at each fire station. There is no change in occupancy or number of personnel. There is no exterior building or site work involved with the project.
