The County of Santa Barbara General Services Department ("County") is seeking qualifications from design/consultant teams ("Proposers") demonstrating expertise in working closely with public entities, having a proven track record of successfully developing site assessments and solar feasibility studies, and having the technical capability to advise on the possible development of the project site. The selected Proposer will provide two deliverables: 1) a thorough assessment of the site conditions and integrity of existing infrastructure, and 2) an in-depth photovoltaic solar assessment that includes an evaluation of the site's solar production capacity and a cost-benefit analysis. These deliverables will be utilized to inform the County of a conceptual plan for potential acquisition. The County will work with Proposers to assess the efficacy of this site location in achieving the County's Zero Net Energy goals as well as providing critical water resources and services to adjacent operations. The County reserves the right to select multiple Proposers, or Teams of Proposers, based on the responses to this RFQ/P and/or to conduct interviews at the County's discretion.
