Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Big Lake, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Major Quantities of Work are: Shoulder Base Aggregate Class 6B 1,836 TONS Mill Bituminous Surface 535 SQ YD Type SP 9.5 Wearing Course Mixture (2,B) 6,336 TONS 4" Concrete Driveway Pavement 278 SQ YD Common Topsoil Borrow 1836 TONS Hydraulic Mulch Matrix 13,125 LB Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond made payable to the Township as a proposal guarantee for at least 5% of the amount of the bid. No Bidder may withdraw their bid (which shall include the Certified Check or Bidder's Bond) within 15 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The Township will consider award of the contract at the March 8th, 2023, meeting contingent upon Engineer review. It is the Township's Intent to begin and complete construction in the year 2023. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Liquidated damages will be assessed for any work that remains uncompleted on the Project after the completion date of August 31, 2023 or the date indicated in the Notice to Proceed, whichever occurs first, as determined in accordance with 1807.
