The Town of Jupiter Island, Florida, (Town) is issuing an Invitation to Bid for Utility Production Well S-15 Demolition and Well S-15R Construction Services for South Martin Regional Utility (SMRU). The Project consists of the construction of Surficial Aquifer production Well S-15R and the demolition, plugging and abandonment of Surficial Aquifer production Well S15. The scope of work will include: removal of existing wellhead, concrete slab, electrical equipment/appurtenances, well pump, and fencing for the existing Well S15 and will include drilling, setting of casings and/or well screen, grouting, testing, well logging, video logging, pump testing, formation water disposal system (including temporary piping and pumps), well facility disinfection, fencing, clearing and restoration of well site, new pump and motor including column pipe and appurtenances, well head, piping, electrical instrumentation and controls, site work and site restoration of the proposed Well S-15R The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment and supplies, and shall execute and complete, to the satisfaction of the Town, and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract documents, all Project work described as provided in the construction drawings and technical specifications. The site is accessed on the south side of Pierre Samuel du Pont Dr. approximately 1/4 mile west of SE Federal Hwy. The Contractor shall protect and restore all existing vegetation within the access path.
