As of April, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. All questions must be submitted by 1:00 p.m. on March 17, 2023. The Project generally consists of the following: Installation of landfill final cover system intermediate cover and/or veneer subbase material; Installation of approximately 5.25 acres of the Closure Turf(TM) alternative final cover system; Rehabilitation of the sand infill over approximately 11 acres of existing Closure Turf alternative final cover system at the site; Removal of accumulated sediment from Sediment Pond 1 to the onsite stockpile area; Surveying; vegetation removal; demolition; site preparation; erosion & sedimentation controls; stormwater controls; pumping of stormwater. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above plus a non-refundable shipping charge, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. The Contract Drawings may also be obtained from the Issuing Office in conjunction with printed copies of the Bidding Documents, as portable document format (PDF) and AutoCAD (dwg) format for quantity takeoffs and estimating purposes. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
