The 2024 Area E - Cell 3 RSS project is a significant construction endeavor aimed at increasing available airspace at the Lanchester Landfill and Reclamation Center. The project entails the construction of a state-of-the-art Reinforced Soil Slope (RSS) in Cell 3 of Area E. The structural fill aggregate is a critical component for ensuring the stability, durability, and longevity of this vital infrastructure The procurement contract is seeking multiple bids for structural fill aggregate totaling 75,000 tons per bid at a consistent rate of 1,500 tons/day delivered per bid.
