The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) is soliciting electronic bids for the demolition of a 1-story wood frame / brick wall building (SB 474) on State Game Lands (SGL) #280 in Penn Township, Berks County. The scope of the project includes demolition of the building, disposal of the building remains, disposal of interior items, removal of foundation, removal of outdoor items and seeding disturbed areas. Bidders should visit the site to ascertain the pertinent conditions such as access, site contours, proximity of utilities, structural characteristics of the building and vegetation in the work area. The building to be demolished is located at 5923 Bernville Road, Bernville, PA 19506. This area is open to inspection and prior permission to view the site will be required to make sure the access gates are open. The Commonwealth reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technical defects in bids and to accept or reject any part of the bid deemed in the best interests of the Commonwealth. Except as otherwise provided by law, award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. A Purchase Order will be generated at the time of award without further input from the successful bidder. Awarded vendor will be sent a copy of this document and no work will be authorized until the vendor is in receipt of the Purchase Order. All vendors who conduct business with the Pennsylvania Game Commission must have a Vendor No. assigned to them in order to receive payment from the Commonwealth.
