**As of April 10, 2023 project was awarded to Vance Brothers Inc, awarded amount is $2,277,197.47.**  All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of at least five percent (5%) of the Bid. The vendors can upload their bid bond when responding online. The bond will be retained by the Town as liquidated damages if the successful bidder refuses or fails to enter into a Contract and Performance, Payment and Maintenance bond in accordance with his bid when notified ofthe award. The Plan Holder shall certify its acknowledgment ofthe addendum by signing the addendum and returning it with its Bid. In the event of conflict with the original contract documents, addenda shall govern all other contract documents to the extent specified. Subsequent addenda shall govern over prior addenda only to the extent specified. The extent ofthe work is approximately as follows: This contract consists of but not limited to placing approximately 695,000 square yards of Type II slurry seal on residential roadways and Town parking lots, to include all associated traffic control and the removal and replacement of pavement markings. This contract will also include approximately 400 tons of full-depth asphalt patching and installing speed humps at various locations.
