Site work and new construction of a civil project in Box Elder, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project consisted of Construction of approximately 8,921 lf of 8 water main, well house, well pump and appurtenances. The goal for DBE/MBE participation on this project is 1% and the goal for WBE participation on this project is 4% of the total dollar value of the construction contract. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President s Executive Order Nos. 11246 (Equal Employment) as amended, 11518 (Small Business Concerns), and 11625 (MBE) as amended. The requirements for bidders and contractors under these orders are explained in the specifications. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Title 40 CFR 33 and Executive Order 12138 (WBE). The requirements for bidders and contractors under this regulation that concerns utilization of Disadvantaged/Minority Business Enterprises (DBE/MBE) and Women's Business Enterprises (WBE) are explained in the specifications. The successful bidder including any contractors on the project, must be registered in SAM (System for Award Management). This project requires a 10% Bid Bond or a 5% Cashier s Check. All Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside of the envelope the name of the Bidder, Bidder s license number. The American Iron and Steel requirement also applies to this project. All listed iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The low responsible and responsive bidder will be required to certify to compliance with the American Iron and Steel provision of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2014. This certification form may be found in either Section 00005-1 American Iron and Steel Acknowledgement and Certification on page 00005-2 or on page AIS- 21 of the State Revolving Fund (SRF) General Conditions and must be included in the bid proposal.
