The new building will feature structural cross- laminated timber (CLT) as well as other wood building materials (both structural and non-structural) on a concrete foundation. Exterior building materials consist of wooden decks, wood siding (stained and clear coated), wood framed window with operable vents, and standing seam metal roof. The building's interior spaces will include classrooms, office space, and building support spaces. In accordance with Code of Alabama, 39-2-2(a), prequalification is required for this project.
