Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The scope of work for the various projects may include but not be limited to: deconstruction and disposal of the building(s) or structure(s) included in a particular project; and hazardous material abatement complete remediation of the site, including vegetation removal; and obtaining all necessary and applicable permits, approvals, licenses and permissions for that particular project. The City has identified objectives and desired outcomes as they relate to building deconstruction including the following: deconstruction of buildings or structures in a cost effective manner; little or no disruption to neighbours or neighbouring businesses; little or no disruption to vehicle, bicycle and pedestrian traffic; no property damage to neighbouring properties; effective dust control; reduced noise emissions; ensure public safety at all times; and disposal of demolished materials in an environmentally responsible manner.
