Objectives The specific objectives for this Project are as follows: a) Secure a contract to replace two (2) air compressors at the following location: 1) CATA Administration Building, 4615 Tranter Street, Lansing, MI 48910; Scope of Work Contractor, at the direction of CATA's Facilities Manager, shall provide and install two (2) air compressors in accordance with the specifications, tasks, and scope of work set forth in Exhibit A. It is the sole responsibility of Contractor to read the specifications and understand them. x Replacement of existing air compressors o #1 - Quincy M#390-105, Pump Serial # 6069780, 200 gallons tank capacity o #2 - Quincy M#390-21, Pump Serial # 171038L, 200 gallons tank capacity o Dual control alternator panel. x Voltage: 480, 3 phase x To provide and install two (2) new horizontal tank mounted, pressure lubricated air compressors, made in USA, air compressors to match existing voltage, 240 gallons each tank capacity, 2-cylinder, 20 horse power motor with all necessary plumbing and electrical connections. x To include magnetic starter on each compressor. x To include necessary plumbing to connect to existing automatic draining system. x To include low oil shutoff switch. x To include air-cooled aftercooler. x To include vibration pads. x To include intake filter. x To include dual control alternator panel. x Contractor shall replace one unit at a time so that CATA is never without compressed air. x To include one (1) concrete pad removal, saw cutting, removal of concrete / debris hauled off site bycontractor. x To include any excavation work. x To include any fill / compaction. x To include new concrete installation (if necessary) to match floor height. x Operating range shall be 145 to 170 psi x Vacuum truck services if necessary for the removal of any contaminated soils.
