Renovation of a residential development in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
This work consists of removal and replacement of existing building siding, as well as roofing modifications at the rear wall of the property listed below Questions Due Date: Feb 16th 2023, 11:30 AM EST Intent to Bid Due Date: Feb 28th 2023, 11:00 AM EST Before submitting a bid, each bidder shall examine the Contract Documents carefully, shall read the Specifications and all other proposed Contract Documents. Each bidder shall fully inform himself prior to bidding as to the conditions and limitations under which the Work is to be performed, and shall include in his bid a sum to cover the cost of items necessary to perform the Work as set forth in the proposed Contract Documents. No allowance will be made to a bidder because of lack of such examination or knowledge. The submission of a bid will be considered as conclusive evidence that the bidder has made such examination. The Albany Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. A certified check or Bank Draft payable to the Albany Housing Authority, US Government Bonds, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. Attention is directed to the Liquidated Damages provisions in the General Conditions, HUD-5370, Par. 33 of this Project Manual. Value of liquidated damages and date of required completion are given on the Bid Form. Surety companies executing bonds in conjunction with this contract must appear on the Treasury Department's most current list (Circular 570 as amended) and be authorized to transact business in the state where the project is located. Attention is called to the provision for Section 3, Equal Employment Opportunity, Minority Business Enterprise Participation and payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Project Manual. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening of bids without the consent of the Albany Housing Authority. The award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder. Estimated Value: $45,000 - $65,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
