The purpose of this project is to identify and select vendors to complete the necessary installation activities of technology that meets the fire station alerting requirements of the Roseville Fire Department and to enhance services to the City of Roseville and surrounding communities. This project removes and replaces the fire station alerting system at 8 existing City fire stations. This project also installs a new fire station alerting system at Fire Station 8 for a total of 9 fire stations. Fire Station 8 is scheduled to begin construction in Spring/Summer 2023 with completion in Spring/Summer 2024. The City is seeking joint proposals from a technology vendor and installation contractor. The City anticipates awarding two separate contracts for the winning joint proposal. One contract will be awarded for the technology components of the scope of work. The other contract will be awarded to a licensed California contractor for installation of all components. The installation contract will be subject to DIR registration, prevailing wage requirements, and performance and labor and materials bond requirements. A pre-proposal conference has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 14, 2023 9:30-10:30AM PST. Attendance will be taken prior to the start of the call. Interested firms will have an opportunity to submit questions regarding the requirements outlined in this RFP. While attendance is not mandatory, interested proposers are highly encouraged to attend. In order to make the meeting more effective for all participants, attendees should read this document thoroughly prior to the meeting. Substantial clarifications or changes required as a result of the meeting will be issued in the form of a written addendum to the RFP. A list of attendees will be distributed upon request.
