For furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and appurtenances necessary for the construction of the Walker Mountain 300,000 Gallon Tank Rehabilitation The Project consists of installing a containment system, sandblasting and recoating the interior and exterior, installing a new frost-free roof vent, removing existing rotating ladder and associated connecting metal plate at roof vent, installing roof handrails and a non-skid area, and re-caulking the base seal for the 300,000-gallon ground storage water tank on Walker Mountain. The work will be awarded in one Contract. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available directly from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of bidding Documents including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. No part of the purchase will be refunded. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached to the Contract Documents or a Surety Company's Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Tennessee and listed as a certified company in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in the amount of five percent of the Bid. No bid may be withdrawn within 120 calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids.
