As of April 24, 2023, no bids received. Project will rebid but no definite date yet. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to meet the requirements of the International Residential Code , International Plumbing Code, International Mechanical Code, International Energy Conservation Code and all other applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances that apply to the jurisdiction where the work is being performed. The contractor shall obtain all necessary permits and inspections required by all laws, regulations, or public authority having jurisdiction. The contractor shall pay all permit fees, tap fees, temporary utility connection charges, and other expenses in connection therewith this project. The contractor shall obtain certificates of all inspections and submit a copy of each to the project administrator before final payment is made. All materials and construction to comply with THDAs Minimum Design Standards. White County is seeking eligible residential construction Licensed and Certified General Contractors with the State of Tennessee to demolish and reconstruct one (1) owner-occupied home and rehabilitate one (1) owner-occupied home in White County, TN, as part of the 2021 THDA HOME Grant program. White County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Please place ATTN: White County HOME program on the envelope of the sealed bid. All bids must be submitted in compliance with the Housing Reconstruction Bid Packet and Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must be qualified for the type of construction being bid upon.
