Professional Engineering Services - Sager Creek Improvements The City of Siloam Springs is requesting statements of qualifications from firms interested in providing professional engineering services for structural repairs to walls and rock overhangs, repairs to the existing dam's sluice gates, repair or replacement of the existing pedestrian bridge, and fountain upgrades. The selected firm will also coordinate with the Sager Creek Advisory Committee and the public to design water quality and general aesthetic improvements along Sager Creek. The SOQ's will be used for selection of engineers for a comprehensive design of these projects, to be implemented in 2023 and 2024. The name and address of the firm shall be on the outside of the package. In evaluating the qualifications of each firm, the following shall be considered: 1.The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to the type of professional services required; 2.The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question, including specialized services, within the time limitations fixed for the completion of the project; 3.The past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules and deadlines; and 4.The firm's proximity to and familiarity with the area in which the project is located. Proposers should structure their responses to follow this sequence where possible. The City reserves the right to issue a separate RFQ at any time for any job specific engineering selection.
