The name and address of the firm shall be on the outside of the package and include "Qualifications for Engineering and Surveying Services". The SOQ's will be used for selection of engineers for the comprehensive design and construction management of various projects, to be implemented in 2023 and 2024. Please submit one (1) paper copy of statement of qualifications and one (1) identical digital PDF copy on a properly labeled CD. In evaluating the qualifications of each firm, the following shall be considered: 1.The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to the type of professional services required; 2.The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question, including specialized services, within the time limitations fixed for the completion of the project; 3.The past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules and deadlines; and 4.The firm's proximity to and familiarity with the area in which the project is located. Proposers should structure their responses to follow this sequence where possible. The City reserves the right to issue a separate RFQ at any time for any job specific engineering selection.
