Renovation of a mixed-use development in Renton, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and office development.
The Work includes, but is not limited to: Replace existing utility transformers and switches located inside the building on the first floor with a new pad-mounted utility transformer and vault on the SE corner of the property. Install a new switchboard inside the existing building vault room. Provide temporary generator to support existing generator throughout the project. This Project is estimated to cost $150,000.00 or more and must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, or bid bond, equal to 5% of the total Base Bid only, excluding taxes. Make checks payable to the Renton School District; furnish bond executed by a licensed bonding agency authorized to do business in the locality of the project. This Project is not estimated to cost one million dollars or more. This Project is not subject to the apprenticeship requirements of RCW 39.04.320. Right to Reject: The Owner reserves the right to accept the lowest or any other Bid, the right to reject any or all Bids, and the right to waive any irregularities in any Bid. Withdraw of Bid: No Bid may be withdrawn, except with the express permission of the Owner, after the time set for the opening thereof, unless the award of Contract is delayed for a period exceeding 45 days. Architect/Engineer's Cost Opinion: $415,000.00 02/28/2023 Bidders and Sub-bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request which shall reach the Architect at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the date for receipt of Bids. Anticipated Notice of Award: On or about March 14, 2023
