In general, the work consists of improvements to various street, watermain, and storm sewers located in the City of Litchfield. Work includes watermain replacement, storm sewer and roadway improvements on Williams Street and East Street. Anderson Street, N Chicago Street, Chestnut Street, and Birch Street include Overband crack fill. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance Bond and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid, and Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 50% of the Bid. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, but no bidder shall withdraw his Bid within 60 days after the actual opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive irregularities in any Bid, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner.
