East main Street road resurfacing Every general bid and every sub-bid shall be accompanied by a proposal guaranty in the form of a Bid Bond, or a certified check on, or a treasurer's or cashiers check issued by, a responsible bank or trust company having offices in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The proposal guaranty for general bids and sub-bids shall be in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Checks and bid bonds shall be made payable to the City of Chicopee, Massachusetts. A performance and Payment Bond in the full amount of the Contract will be required of the successful bidder. Contract Timeframe The work described in this contract shall be completed within SIXTY (60) CALENDAR DAYS from the date of the Notice to Proceed. All work must be fully completed by May 26, 2023 including punch-list items. The funding for this project is the MassDOT Winter Recovery Assistance Program. Funds must be expended by June 30, 2023.
