Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Penfield, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The Project includes the following Work: The construction of a new public restroom building, approximately 760 s.f., at the Veterans Memorial Park in Penfield, NY. The structure is a single story, slab-on-grade public structure with load bearing masonry walls and wood trusses. The restroom area will be fully ADA compliant and conditioned (heat). Related site work will be by Owner and will begin 5' outside of building perimeter with the exception of the construction of all sidewalks and the sewer connection, both by Contractor. The Contractor is responsible for all site work and building pad prep within this 5' limit line, including backfill around the building. WHEREAS, the Town of Penfield desires to construct a new restroom facility along Columbus Crossing; and WHEREAS, the Town of Penfield hired the MRB Group to design the new ADA compliant restroom facility; and WHEREAS, Senator Samra Brouk is providing the town with $205,650 towards the new construction; and WHEREAS, the Town Board has allocated the remaining funds to come from the Recreation Trust Fund for this project; BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Engineer be, and hereby is, authorized to advertise, in the manner prescribed by law, for sealed proposals for new bathroom facility; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that installation methods and materials covered by such sealed proposals shall be in accordance with plans and specifications
