Reference Number: AB-2023-00932 This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by Strathcona County (the "County") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Transit Master Plan Update, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the "Deliverables"). The County is seeking proposals from an experience and qualified consulting firm to complete an update to the Strathcona County Transit Master Plan (TMP). This update will be considered a mid-term review of the 10-year plan. Although the policy framework from the TMP is expected to remain the same, the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic had on transit agencies, including Strathcona County Transit (SCT), warrants a review of the documents, strategic directions, recommendations, phasing and implementation plan. These need to be assessed to determine their relevance and priority post pandemic. Furthermore, additional factors including but not limited to; lessons learned from the pandemic, growth area infrastructure, local service design, fleet composition and zero emission transition; needs to be explored more thoroughly to guide SCT forward into the next 10- 20 years. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
