The contracts available to bidders consist of the following: 2023 Street and Utility Improvements- Paulson Road: - 5,200 lineal feet new 30-inch curb & gutter - 1,700 lineal feet new 12-inch RCP storm sewer - 1,500 lineal feet new 8-inch ductile iron water main - 20 water service laterals - 200 lineal feet new 18-inch storm sewer - 450 tons 1.5-inch surface course asphalt paving - 530 tons 1.75-inch binder course asphalt paving - 13,000 square feet 5-foot wide concrete sidewalk 2023 Water Main Improvements- Spartan Drive to Taylor Road: - 1,500 lineal feet new 8-inch water main - 4 water service laterals - Bid options for excavated or trenchless water main installation - 600 lineal feet new 10-foot wide path - 13,000 square feet 5-foot wide concrete sidewalk The quantities and the main sizes are subject to change without notice prior to document distribution. The Contract Documents, consisting of Advertisement for Bids, Instructions to Bidders, Bidder's Proof of Responsibility, Affidavit of Qualifications, Bid Proposal Form, Affidavit of Organization and Authority, Bid Bond (in the amount of 5% of the maximum amount of the bid), Notice of Award Form, Agreement Form, Notice to Proceed Form, Performance/Payment Bond (100%), Certificate of Insurance, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, Technical Specifications, Drawings and Addenda (if any). QUALIFICATIONS: Bidders must be pre-qualified with the Village of McFarland for this work 5 days prior to the bid deadline in accordance with Section 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Bidders must complete the Village's Affidavit of Qualifications and submit with the prequalification form. Each bidder must deposit, with his bid, security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bidders must be experienced in municipal pipeline construction. The Village of McFarland reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in any bid.
